"Ndebele Noel" |
I
never heard of the Ndebele people until I moved to Zambia. They are
from South Africa and are famous for their geometric designs used
to adorn houses, walls, cars, fabric, calendars and now eggs. The
women wear very large beaded necklaces, so when I painted characters
in the designs, I tried to keep the costumes traditional.
