We Need a Little Christmas (Part 2 in my own style)

It's getting harder and harder to find Christmas carols that I haven't already painted, but when I came across this song, I knew it was a "two-fer". Part one of this set, for 2014, is illustrated on goose eggs in an Art Deco style (still influenced by my life in Belgium). Part two, for 2015, completes the song. Original plans were for an Art Nouveau set, but in the end, I opted to paint ornaments in my own kid-friendly style.

Slice up the fruitcake;
It's time we hung some tinsel on that evergreen bough.
For I've grown a little leaner,
Grown a little colder,
Grown a little sadder,
Grown a little older,
And I need a little angel sitting on my shoulder,
Need a little Christmas now!

For we need a little music,
Need a little laughter,
Need a little singing ringing through the rafter,

And we need a little snappy "Happy ever after,"
Need a little Christmas now!
