I've enjoyed Istanbul in the winter and the spring. Go in the springtime when the area is filled with tulips. It's wonderful. So much to see with the Blue Mosque, whirling dervishes and the Grand Bazaar. I don't know how it is possible to go to Istanbul and not buy a carpet. I have four or five.
