taught in Casablanca, Morocco, for two years. Because
I travel so much, people frequently ask me my favorite
destination. Hands-down, no competition, it is
Morocco. I had such an amazing experience in Morocco
with three families -- the Chakirs, the Soufidis, and the
Ayouds. It will always be my favorite counrty. One Christmas I traveled to Zagora, on the edge of the Sahara Desert. I rode a camel into the sands and spent a night in the desert. It was much colder than expected, but there was no chance of snow falling down. |
