This was as close to teaching heaven as one can get.  I had a self-contained class with about 15 students.   We had so much fun.  The students' highlight of the year was probably the three day trip to the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech.  What were they supposed to like the best about the trip?  The Berber villages.  What did they enjoy the most?   The pool at our hotel. 

Meanwhile back at school, current events took on a whole new meaning since students were from around the globe.   We studied the earth and made travel brochures of individual countries.  Then, looking closer to home on Earth Week, we recycled used toys by selling them at school and giving the money to a local orphanage.
