Roman Vases and Stained Glass Window Etchings

In this project, the students integrate art with what they were studying in Humanities.  In the first quarter, grade seven studies ancient Rome.  Vases are researched from the period and reproduced using similar shapes, patterns, and figures.  In the second semester, students delve into the Middle Ages.  So, stained glass windows are created which depicted life during the period.
