In this assignment I ask my artists to talk to their parents, grandparents, or if necessary read a book, and come up with a folk tale from their country of origin.  In an international school setting, that provides a wide variety of stories from around the globe.  They must design a cover, write a title page, dedication and copyright information, type the story on the computer, and create at least ten illustrations.  The only problem for me when they are completed is that they take the books home. I really want to keep these treasures!
