Aliens

Whenever possible, I like to integrate the art projects with what is going on in the classroom.  This is especially fun when the kids study the solar system.  I have seen stuffed pieces of art made by young children before.  They often look like they were traced from the same pattern and constructed on an assembly line.  These aliens are much different.  Students begin with basic squares, rectangles, circles, ovals, or triangles.  Then, they each add their own details to come up with really unique aliens.
