Working with Grids

One key for art students is to realize that a lot of art can be done well if you learn some basic steps.  In this activity, students use grids to reproduce pictures they found in magazines.  If they were simply asked to draw the picture, it could have been too overwhelming.  However, when asked to draw it just one small square at a time, it becomes a manageable task.   The drawings are surprisingly accurate -- except for the fact that in the first illustration the Smirnoff's bottle was deleted.
