Initial Art with Phillip Martin
Lesson Plan

This leesson is designed to play with the letters of your name. Artists first try to fill a page with the letters of their name with letters overlapping, sharing borders and going off the page. It's a challenge . . . and it's just the beginning. The next step is to do the same thing with just the initials.

The letters are originally Primary colors.  However, where they overlap, the corresponding Secondary color must be applied.  I normally do this with acrylic paint. On one occasion I also tried pastels on black paper and the results were very interesting.
