Name Perspective
.
Students are given an introduction to the terms vanishing point, tints, and shades while given the chance to put their names into a perspective drawing.  In the process, they get to put in a lot of work with rulers, a chance to make "home made carbon paper", and the opportunity to express themselves any way they wish inside their names.
