U.S. EMBASSY Monrovia, Liberia .........   Okay, this is a new one for me. I've never had my art used as the cover photo for an embassy Facebook page before. As far as I'm concerned, it is way cool. And, I hope it starts a new trend.

In case you've been on the moon, the U.S. Embassy sponsored a trip for me to return to Liberia to paint murals with Ebola survivors in Zorzor and Zwedru. It was especially wonderful for me to return to the town where I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I'd say I've learned a thing or two about working with communities as I've painted my murals. As I worked on murals 43 and 44 in my twentieth country, I felt like a Peace Corps Volunteer all over again. But this time, I really felt like I made a community impact.

This is the mural painted in Zwedru. If you read the story of the mural, it will help clarify the meaning of the mural and it'll fill you in on "our little secret".
