PIKE PLACE FISH MARKET ..... Right along the port was the fish market.. It's listed in my book of the 1000 places to go before you die. So, I am now one place closer, but still over 850 places to go. (That's way ahead of anyone else I know.)

Located just next to the city harbor, it's perfect for fresh sea food. And, the first thing that most tourists see upon entering is the fish shop where they throw fish at each other and pillow fish at the customers. The employees are very interesting looking men with all kinds of piercing and tattoos. And, they are part stand-up comedians. "When asked how are the crabs? ", of course, the reply is, "They're clearing up nicely, thank you."

But, it isn't just fish at the market. There are other surprises.
