Burma's answer to Mt. Olympus

MT. POPA     It was possible and easy to rent a car on the trip between Bagan and Mandalay.  It also made it possible to visit Mt. Popa (which was worth the detour since it was one of the most holy places in the country).  The car rental was the only enjoyable transport I experienced in Burma on the first trip.  I found the destinations incredible, but the trips were always an ordeal to try to recover from. This trip was the the only one I needed no recovery time.
