MANILA     What can be said about Manila?  Crowds, pollution, crowds, traffic, crowds, shopping, crowds, construction, and crowds.  However, I learned a few tips to maintain sanity in the city.  It is by no means a complete list, but it could help as a starter.  Get to know the guys at the ISM computer office to help you with your computer needs (especially Marvin), shop at the organic market at Greenbelt on Saturday and Tuesday, buy season tickets to all of the Rep plays, get your groceries at Cash and Carry at 10:00 A.M. on weekend mornings and, as much as possible, only travel by air in the Philippines.
