Hill tribe weavings

CHIANG MAI     The night market started kicking into gear around 5:00 in the afternoon and it alone was worth the trip to Chiang Mai.  This was the best shopping that I had seen in Thailand and maybe anywhere on Earth.  "The basement" of the night market was a shopper's trap.  I  met an artist, Rich, whose work was like photographs.  He used charcoal with a paint brush and the results were amazing.  Fortunately, my Visa card was accepted at one of the local ATM machines.
