Bridge over the River Kwai

FLOATING MARKET / BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI    A tour is a tour is a tour.   Thailand was all set up for tours and they were so very touristy.  The floating market was nice -- but it was half Thais and half tourists.  Archways over the market said "Floating Market" in English.  The bridge over the River Kwai would make W.W.II vets spin in their graves.  It was a tourist trap.  Boat trips, souvenirs, elephant rides, and more souvenirs around a bridge with a tragic history.  Who smelled tourist dollars?
