Zagreb Cathedral

Kaptol.... After a stroll around Jelacic Square, I headed to the first of the two old cities, Kaptol. The name of the cathedral was a mouthful, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saintly Kings Stephen and Ladislav. Fortunately, it is usually referred to as "the Cathedral". It was easy to find it with the two neo Gothic spires of the cathedral towering nearby. Right next to it was the market. Even though it was Sunday in one of Europe's Catholic strongholds (after Poland), the market was bustling. I took several photos but my favorite was the first with colored corn and fall pumpkins.
