PUY
du FOU. .
We visited Puy du Fou.. It was kind of
like a Disneyland of French history.. I
really liked it.. There was a section
about the Viking invasion.. It was reenacted
with ships, flames, and a Catholic miracle.
Then, there
was a medieval village, an 18th century village, and lots of people
dressed for the time period.
The biggest
attraction was the Gallo-Roman coliseum.. It
was amazing.. They even had chariot races
and Christians thrown to the lions.. The
only drawback was everything was in French..
No English at all.. I guess the
French believe everyone should speak French, n'est pas? Even though
I didn't know everything that was going on, I was still very glad
that I visited this site.
