SAINTE CHAPELLE . . Commissioned by King Louix IX, the Holy Chapel was consecrated in 1248. The chapel is an example of the Rayonnant phase of Gothic Architecture. It is most known for the high stained glass windows that appear to almost have no support. They are just magical -- especially if you happen to visit when there are not so many other tourists.

I've hit it on lucky days and also visited on incredibly crowded days. My best suggestion any time is to include it with your two day museum pass. You get to cut the lines.
