Seljalandsfoss Falls

Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss Falls. ..My tour took a dozen of us to two waterfalls.  Names were impossible for me to remember or pronounce, but with a little research, I found them.  Seljalandsfoss was tall and skinny.  Skógafoss was tall and wide.

Skógafoss had an outdoor folk museum exhibition of historical era dwellings in Iceland’s past.  Some of the homes were sod-houses.  They didn’t look like much on the outside, but were shockingly cozy on the inside.  Some had wood panel walls inside the sod structure.  There aren’t that many trees in Iceland for everyone to have wooden homes.  One of the buildings used recycled wood panels from a shipwreck.  The rooms were tiny, but just so very charming.
