Whereas most of the other towns I visited in Transylvania
had a Saxon influence, Cluj had a touch of Hungary. The main area
had a large rectangular plaza in the city center. Near it were all
the required shops, museums, cafes, churches, flags, and a beautiful
botanical garden. It was so spacious! Cluj also had so many electric
lines going in just about every imaginable direction. It made for
some interesting light poles.
favorite place to chill was the park near the sports arena. All sorts
of interesting people could be spotted. And, the cafe had wonderful
live music in the evening.
