HATHAWAY'S COTTAGE....I
had seen photos of English gardens
before. But, I never really made the connection that something so beautiful
really did exist outside of postcards and calendars. Well, walking to
and around Anne Hathaway's cottage was a colorful treat for the eyes.
Calling the place a "cottage" hardly does the place justice. It may have been a two room cottage when it was built in the 1400's, but later Hathaway family members expanded it into a charming 12 room dwelling. MARTIN |
