| DEAD SEA ...The water is unbelievably salty. A splash in the eyes or mouth would not soon be forgotten. That's one of the reasons for showers right on the beach. Yes, this comes from first hand experience (from a dip on the Israeli side many years before). On this trip, I arrived at the shores of the Dead Sea at sunset. It was too cold and choppy for me to get in. I took sunset photos. | ||||
