| SPICE MARKET...Certainly most merchants at the Spice Market were wonderful. Turkish hospitality was great. But, I was befriended by Omer. He invited me in his shop just to take photos - so I did. There was so many colorful spices, beans, oils, and sweets. And, when I was done with the entire market, I came back to his shop. He got me Turkish tea and gave me free Turkish delight. Okay, so I was "guilted" into buying, but I was happy to get several bags of Turkish saffron. They would be presents for my friends because I sure don't cook. | ||||
