CAYE CAULKER ........On my healthiest day at the cayes, we left San Pedro and headed to Caye Caulker, a town on one of Belize's neighboring cayes. It appeared that San Pedro was more of a "high end" destination while the smaller town of Caye Caulker was a "back packer" location. I liked it immediately!

While San Pedro exploded in growth, I was told that Caye Caulker had grown little in recent decades. I hope that pattern continues for the sleepy little destination. However, I don't know if it is possible. Word was out. At the airport on my return home, I saw a CNN report about Caye Caulker.
