FLAMINGOS... .There was a small inland salt water lagoon on Floreana where the Galapagos flamingos lived.  The flamingos built their nests on towers of mud.  And that beautiful pink coloration? Well, they got that by eating pink shrimp. 

My guide said she had been giving tours for eight years and only one other time had seen the flamingos dance like they did for me.  The flock ran in lines across the lagoon.  Then, they stopped, honked, looked left and right, and continued to run across the lagoon.  They just kept coming closer.  It was beautiful!
